Scalloped-Edge Tray Mats for Service Trays

These Hoffmaster tray mats fit standard service trays and create a clean barrier between the tray surface and food or utensils. The rectangular bond-paper sheets measure 16.63 inches by 12.75 inches and feature a decorative scalloped edge. They are sold in cartons of 1000 for high-volume food-service operations.

Single-Use Paper Construction

Each mat is made from white bond paper with an embossed pattern and contains no recycled content. The material is not biodegradable and is intended for one-time use, so there are no thermals, noise or power considerations associated with the product.

Carton Quantity of 1000 Sheets

The decisive specification is the pack size: one carton delivers exactly 1000 mats. Buyers who need a smaller pack count or a reusable material such as silicone or vinyl will need a different product.

Questions about this item

How do you place the 16.63 x 12.75 inch scalloped-edge mat on a tray, and what is the common mistake?

Lay the bond-paper mat flat with the embossed pattern facing up; the mistake is flipping it so the smooth side contacts the food, which reduces the barrier effect.

What replacement will be needed after using the 1000-count carton of single-use tray mats?

When the carton is empty, order another 1000-count carton of Hoffmaster HFMTC8704471 white scalloped-edge tray mats.

What limit appears first when the mats stay on a tray during extended meal service?

The bond paper absorbs moisture from hot or wet foods and can soften or tear if left in contact for long periods.
