Erosion-control silt sock

The Home and Country USA silt sock is a filter-fabric tube designed for sediment and erosion control on construction sites and disturbed ground. It serves as an alternative to traditional silt fence where trenching is impractical or the ground is frozen. The sock can also function as a concrete washout barrier, drain inlet protection or perimeter control.

Sustained sediment capture

The fabric traps sediment and soluble pollutants while allowing water to pass, and accumulated solids can be removed easily without disturbing the installation. No trenching is required, so the sock maintains continuous surface contact even on low valleys or steep slopes. Stacking additional socks increases the barrier height to match changing site conditions.

18-inch by 20-foot filter tube

The product measures 18 inches wide by 20 feet long, a single size that determines coverage per unit. Buyers needing shorter or longer continuous lengths, or a different diameter, will need to source another size. The fixed dimensions also set the stacking increment for height adjustments.
