Compatible Hutch Flipper Doors

These HON 38000 Series flipper doors add secure, enclosed storage to a 48w open shelf unit. The single door spans the full width and locks to protect supplies in shared or high-traffic offices. They are sold individually and ship separately from the shelf unit itself. Light Gray finish matches the 38000 Series colour family for a consistent look.

48-Inch Width Fit

The doors are built specifically for the HON 38000 Series Stack-on Open Shelf Unit measuring 48 inches wide. They will not align with narrower or wider shelf models, and the shelf unit must be purchased separately. Verify the existing unit carries the 38000 Series designation before ordering.

Daily Use Durability

Sturdy steel construction with a baked enamel finish resists stains, scratches and general wear in busy environments. The radius-edge profile and .75-inch thick high-pressure laminate door panel hold up to repeated opening and closing. Total recycled content reaches 43 percent, with 37 percent post-consumer material.

Questions about this item

How does the 48-inch width work once the flipper door is mounted on the shelf?

The door spans the full 48-inch width of the HON 38000 Series Stack-on Open Shelf Unit, giving one continuous panel that flips up and locks for secure storage.

What mounting standard does the door use and what does it limit?

It attaches only to the HON 38000 Series Stack-on Open Shelf Unit, so it cannot be used on other brands or on freestanding cabinets.

What clearance and hardware are needed to install the 15-inch deep door?

The unit requires the matching 38000 Series open shelf; the door itself is 0.75 inch thick with a radius edge and mounts with the supplied hardware.
