Right-hand flush return for 38000 Series

This right-hand flush return attaches to a single-pedestal desk or L-workstation desk to form an L-workstation. It is not freestanding and requires a compatible HON 38000 Series host desk for installation. The unit adds a 3/4-height pedestal with two drawers in a box/file configuration. Mahogany/Charcoal finish matches the series colour palette.

For expanders needing right-side storage

Buyers extending an existing 38000 Series desk on the right gain a lockable box/file pedestal and cord-management grommets. Builders who need a freestanding return, a left-hand orientation, or a full-height pedestal cannot use this unit. It also does not suit desks outside the 38000 Series.

Attaches only to 38000 Series desks

The return must connect to a HON 38000 Series corner unit, single-pedestal desk or L-workstation desk; no other mounting method is supported. Without a compatible host desk the unit cannot be used.

Questions about this item

What desk depth and mounting points does the 48w right-hand return require?

The 38215RNS attaches to a HON 38000 Series single pedestal desk or L-workstation desk; it is not freestanding and uses the desk's existing attachment hardware.

Which step is most often missed when bolting the return to the main desk?

Installers frequently forget to align and secure the modesty panel brackets before tightening the return-to-desk bolts, leaving a gap at the joint.

How often should the steel ball-bearing slides on the box/file drawers be lubricated?

Light PTFE spray once a year keeps the slides operating smoothly; the removable core lock cylinder can be re-keyed if the key is lost.
