48 x 24 Rectangular Work Surface

This 48-inch by 24-inch rectangular top provides a spacious work surface for office or training environments. The Traditional Mahogany laminate finish resists scratches, spills and stains for long-lasting appearance. It is designed to attach to a compatible Mod base to create a complete table or desk. The one-inch thick construction offers a solid feel for daily use.

Suits Mod System Builders Not Standalone Users

This component suits buyers assembling a Mod furniture system who need a durable rectangular top in a traditional finish. It is not a freestanding desk and cannot be used without a separate Mod base. Buyers who want an all-in-one unit with integrated legs should look at complete desk assemblies instead. The laminate surface is intended for general office tasks rather than heavy industrial loads.

Metal-to-Metal Fastening System

The metal-to-metal fastening system allows a precise, secure fit when connecting the top to a Mod base. This hardware method helps maintain alignment and stability during everyday use. No other mounting hardware is included with the top itself. Compatibility with the specific Mod base model is required for proper installation.

Will the Traditional Mahogany laminate match the finish on my existing HON Mod pieces?

The top uses a Traditional Mahogany laminate finish; if your current Mod components are also in the Traditional Mahogany color family they will coordinate.

How can I confirm the worksurface is securely fastened after assembly?

Check that all metal-to-metal fasteners are fully tightened and the top sits level with no visible gaps between the worksurface and the Mod base frame.
