8-channel balanced snake for stage and studio

The Hosa Technology STX-807M carries eight balanced audio lines from 1/4 inch TRS outputs to XLR male inputs in a single 7 metre cable. It is built for engineers who need a tidy multicore link between a mixing console, interface or patchbay and stage boxes or rack gear.

One cable replaces eight separate runs

The snake consolidates wiring, reducing clutter and setup time for live sound, broadcast or permanent installs. Each channel stays balanced end to end, so you avoid the noise and ground issues that unbalanced looms introduce over this distance.

Questions about this item

How many balanced channels does the STX-807M snake carry?

The snake provides eight balanced channels, each with a 1/4 in TRS male connector on one end and an XLR3 male connector on the other.

Does the 7-metre cable length add noticeable resistance or capacitance that could affect signal quality?

At 7 metres the cable remains well within typical balanced-line limits, so added resistance and capacitance are minimal and unlikely to degrade audio signals in normal studio or stage use.
