Simple CD Player for Everyday Listening
The HOTT C204 Basic is a compact portable CD player designed for straightforward audio playback. It handles standard CDs, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 discs without supporting DVD or VCD formats. The unit weighs 0.44 kilograms and includes stereo earphones plus an AUX cable in the box. It suits anyone who wants a dedicated disc player for home, car or travel use without complex features.
Check Power and Audio Connections
This model runs on two AA batteries (not supplied) or via a USB Type-C cable connected to the 3.5 mm DC input jack. There are no built-in speakers, so private listening requires the included 3.5 mm headphones or an external speaker through the AUX output. Verify you have a ready supply of AA cells or a convenient USB power source before ordering. The player measures 5.588 in x 17.0942 in x 17.2974 in, so confirm it fits your intended storage space.
Replaces Older Portable Disc Players
The C204 upgrades from earlier portable units by adding 45 second anti-shock buffering for CDs and 120 seconds for MP3 files, giving stable playback in moving vehicles or while walking. Five EQ presets (Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classic, BBS) replace basic tone controls for quick genre tuning. The jump is worth it if your current player lacks skip protection, cannot read MP3 discs, or has no line-out for car audio systems. It is not suited for jogging or for users who want Bluetooth streaming or built-in rechargeable batteries.
