Portable CD Player for Car and Home

The HOTT CD204 is a compact CD player designed for listeners who still value physical discs. It plays CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 discs through a 3.5 mm headphone jack or AUX output. Power comes from two AA batteries or a Type-C cable, giving up to six hours of continuous playback. Stereo sound is shaped by five EQ presets covering Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classic and BBS.

45-Second Anti-Shock Buffer and Disc Compatibility

ASP anti-shock technology buffers up to 45 seconds of CD audio or 120 seconds of MP3 data, keeping playback steady in a moving car or on public transport. The mechanism handles standard CDs and recordable discs, while the MP3 mode reads data discs burned with compressed files. Random, repeat and intro preview modes let you navigate custom mixtapes without a smartphone.

Replaces Bulky Discmans Without Bluetooth

This unit suits buyers who want a simple, cable-connected replacement for older portable CD players. It is not for users who need wireless streaming, built-in speakers or jog-proof durability beyond the rated buffer. The included earphones and AUX cable make it a complete starter kit for car aux inputs or private listening at home.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm AUX output on the CD204 work with an older car stereo that only has a cassette adapter?

Yes, the included 3.5 mm AUX cable connects the player's headphone jack to any auxiliary input, including cassette adapters used with older car stereos.

How can I confirm the 45-second anti-shock buffer is active after I insert a disc?

The anti-shock function engages automatically; if playback continues without skipping when the unit is moved gently, the 45-second CD buffer is working.

Does the box contain the two AA batteries the player needs, or must I buy them separately?

Two AA batteries are not supplied; the package includes the CD204 player, stereo earphones, AUX cable, Type-C charging cable and user manual.
