Direct Thermal Label Stock

This pack contains 16 rolls of 4" x 2" white direct thermal labels on a 3" core. The 2800 labels use premium wood-free Fasson paper that works with Zebra, Eltron, Datamax, Intermec, SATO and Fargo desktop printers. They suit shipping, Endicia, barcode, badge and general-purpose labelling tasks. The BPA-free material resists smearing during repeated contact scans.

Thermal Printing Operation

Direct thermal printing requires no ribbon, ink or toner, so there is no consumable to replace beyond the labels themselves. The Fasson paper produces a clean image when heated by the printer’s printhead. Normal desktop use stays quiet and generates minimal heat because the printer only activates the heating elements for each label. Power draw matches the printer’s standard operating specification.

Sustained Print Runs

The 3" core feeds smoothly during long batches, reducing the risk of jams or misfeeds. Premium wood-free stock maintains consistent darkness and contrast across the full 2800-label supply. The adhesive holds on corrugated boxes, file folders and plastic surfaces without lifting after extended handling. Rolls are sized for continuous operation in compatible direct thermal desktop printers.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 3-inch core rolls into my Zebra desktop printer?

Place each roll on the 3-inch spindle, pull the leading edge forward under the transmissive sensor, and close the printhead latch so the labels feed straight without skewing.

When will the direct thermal print start to fade and need replacement?

Direct thermal images darken with heat and UV exposure; expect legible barcodes for roughly six to twelve months in normal indoor shipping use before reprinting is required.

What limits how many labels I can print continuously before the printer pauses?

The printer’s internal thermal printhead temperature limit triggers a cool-down pause during long runs; the 2800 labels across 16 rolls do not change that hardware throttle.
