Compatible Thermal Labels

These direct thermal labels work with desktop printers from Datamax, Intermec, SATO, Fargo and Zebra Eltron that use a transmissive sensor. They suit shipping, Endicia postage, badges, barcodes and general tagging tasks. Buyers needing ribbon-based thermal transfer printing cannot use this roll.

BPA-Free Construction

The labels contain no BPA and feature a smooth surface that resists smearing during repeated contact scans. A permanent adhesive keeps each label in place after application. Perforations between labels simplify separation. The roll ships in an individual mini-carton that shields the media from sunlight and scuffing.

1-Inch Core Format

Each roll holds 500 white square labels measuring three inches on a side with an outside diameter between 3.5 and 4 inches. The one-inch core fits standard desktop direct thermal printers. Verify that your printer accepts this core size and does not require a thermal ribbon before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How many labels are on each roll and when will I need to order a replacement roll?

Each roll contains 500 labels, so a replacement roll is needed once those 500 labels have been printed.

What is the maximum roll diameter the printer must accept for this roll?

The roll outside diameter is 3.5 to 4 inches, so the printer must accommodate at least that diameter.

Do these direct thermal labels produce any heat or noise during all-day printing?

The labels themselves are passive media; heat and noise come from the printer, not from the label roll.
