4" x 6" Direct Thermal Shipping Labels

These white labels measure 4 inches by 6 inches and use direct thermal technology so no ribbon is needed. They come on a 3 inch core with 2800 labels per roll and are sold in a pack of four rolls. The BPA free Fasson paper is designed for high volume shipping and barcode printing.

Drop-in compatibility with transmissive sensors

Installation is a simple matter of loading the roll onto the printer spindle and threading the leading edge past the transmissive label sensor. The adhesive backing is formulated to feed cleanly without curling or jamming. Misalignment usually occurs only if the sensor is dirty or the printer tension is set incorrectly for the label thickness.

Direct thermal print life and media limits

Direct thermal images will darken over time when exposed to heat, sunlight or chemical vapours so the labels are not suited for archival storage or outdoor use. The surface resists smearing during repeated scanner passes but cannot withstand abrasion or moisture the way thermal transfer media can. Printers without a transmissive sensor cannot detect the gap between labels.
