460 W hot-plug power supply for ProLiant DL180 and DL160 G6 servers
This 460 W hot-plug power supply is built for HP ProLiant DL180 and DL160 G6 servers. It delivers redundant power in a form factor that can be swapped without shutting the system down. The unit is supplied new and matches part number 591555-201.
Install this module when an existing supply has failed or when adding redundancy to a single-PSU configuration. The hot-plug design lets you maintain uptime during replacement. It is not suited for servers outside the DL180 or DL160 G6 line or for builds needing a different wattage or form factor.
Measured against everything we stock in Switch Modules, Transceivers & Add-Ons, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Yes — the supply is built to the ProLiant hot-plug form factor used in the DL180 G6 and DL160 G6, so it seats directly in the server's redundant PSU bay with no additional mounting hardware.
After the old unit is unlatched and removed, the replacement must be pushed firmly until the latch clicks and the amber LED clears; skipping that final seat-and-latch leaves the supply detected but not powered.
