Ultra-Compact Desktop for Office Work

The HP 600 G4 Mini is a tiny desktop PC built around an Intel Core i5-8500T processor with six cores running at 2.10 GHz base and up to 3.50 GHz turbo. It ships with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD, driven by Intel UHD Graphics 630 and Windows 11 Pro. The compact chassis fits behind a monitor or on a small desk while providing six USB-A 3.0 ports, one USB-C port and two DisplayPort outputs.

Buyers needing more than 8GB RAM

This system suits workers running browser-based apps, office suites and video calls within the 8GB memory limit and integrated graphics ceiling. It will not serve users who need 3D rendering, modern gaming or heavy multitasking beyond 32GB maximum memory. Creative professionals requiring dedicated GPU acceleration or larger local storage should consider other configurations.

512GB SSD determines storage headroom

The single 512GB solid-state drive sets the total capacity available for the operating system, applications and working files before external drives become necessary. Windows 11 Pro and typical office software consume a portion of this space, leaving the remainder for documents and media. Users with large local libraries or virtual machines will need supplementary storage from the outset.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.10 GHz base clock hold steady when the i5-8500T runs at full load for hours?

The 6-core i5-8500T has a 2.10 GHz base and 3.50 GHz turbo; sustained turbo depends on the Mini chassis cooling headroom.

How loud and hot does the Tiny chassis get when the system runs all day?

The compact design targets quiet office operation; integrated UHD 630 graphics and SSD storage keep heat output modest for typical workloads.

What display cables must I already own to use the two DisplayPort outputs?

You need DisplayPort cables (or DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapters) for each monitor; the PC provides two DisplayPort connectors supporting up to 1920 × 1080.
