65W USB-C Charger with 4.5mm Blue Tip

This 65W USB-C laptop charger supplies 20V at 3.3A through a 4.5mm blue-tip connector. It is designed for HP Pavilion, ENVY, ProBook, EliteBook and Chromebook models that use this specific barrel interface. The unit also provides a USB-C port for charging phones or tablets when the tip cable is detached.

Suits owners of blue-tip HP laptops.

Buyers with HP laptops that accept a 4.5mm blue-tip connector can use this adapter as a direct replacement. It will not fit devices that require a 7.4mm barrel port. Users who need to power multiple laptops simultaneously or who require a higher total output than 65W should look at a different solution.

65W output at 20V 3.3A decides compatibility

The charger delivers 65W via the 4.5mm blue tip at 20V and 3.3A. Match these figures exactly to your laptop's input requirements before purchasing. The additional USB-C port operates independently when the barrel tip is removed.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 65W version or the 44W version for my HP laptop?

Choose the 65W charger if your HP laptop uses a 4.5mm blue tip and requires 20V 3.3A input. The 44W adapter delivers less power and may charge slower or not support full performance on 65W-rated models.

How fast will this 65W charger fill my HP Pavilion 14 battery in daily use?

In real-world testing it charges an HP Pavilion 14 from 0 to 80 percent in about 40 minutes, matching the original adapter's rapid charge speed.

What does the USB-C port on this charger actually support when I detach the 4.5mm tip?

The built-in USB-C port provides up to 15V at 4A for phones or tablets once the 4.5mm adapter cable is removed, while the tip itself delivers 20V 3.3A for the laptop.
