Purpose and Audience

The HP 8M3V1AA#ABA Blackwire 3320 is a wired on-ear headset built for professionals who need reliable stereo audio for calls and multimedia. It suits office workers and mobile users who value a lightweight, binaural design with a noise-cancelling microphone for clear voice pickup.

Installation and Common Issues

Connection is straightforward with both USB Type C and 3.5 mm mini-phone plugs for plug-and-play use on compatible devices. No drivers or battery charging are required. The fixed 7.10 ft cable limits mobility, and the on-ear fit may cause pressure during very long sessions for some users.

Fit and Alternatives

This headset fits users who want a simple, durable stereo headset with dual connectivity and omnidirectional noise-cancelling microphone for daily communication. Buyers who want wireless freedom, active noise cancellation for the listener, or an over-ear form factor for extended comfort should look at something else.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the headset is working after plugging it into a USB-C port?

When connected via USB-C, the headset is plug-and-play with no driver required; sound should play immediately and the noise-canceling microphone will pick up your voice if the input level moves in your system settings.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The package includes the Blackwire 3320 headset with its 7.10 ft cable that has both USB Type C and 3.5 mm connectors; no extra cables or adapters are needed for standard devices.

Which version should I choose between the USB-C and 3.5 mm connections?

The single model 3320 provides both interfaces on the same cable, so you can use USB-C on newer laptops or the 3.5 mm jack on older devices without selecting a different variant.
