Outdoor Access Point 374

The HP Aruba AP-374 (RW) is an outdoor wireless access point supporting 802.11n and 802.11ac standards. It features dual radios with 2x2:2 and 4x4:4 configurations plus six N-type connectors for external antennas. This unit is built for organisations deploying Wi-Fi across campuses, yards or industrial sites.

Dual Radio with External Antenna Ports

The two radios operate simultaneously to serve both legacy and newer clients on separate spatial streams. Six N-type connectors allow installers to choose directional or omnidirectional antennas for precise coverage shaping. Buyers needing integrated antennas or a smaller form factor for indoor use should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How often will the six N-type connectors on the AP-374 need inspection or replacement?

The six N-type connectors are passive RF interfaces; they require no scheduled replacement and only need visual inspection if physical damage or corrosion is suspected.

What thermal limit appears first when the AP-374 runs both radios continuously at full power?

The unit's outdoor-rated enclosure is designed to dissipate heat from both 2x2:2 and 4x4:4 radios without throttling under normal ambient conditions.
