Genuine HP 72XL Photo Black cartridge

This genuine HP C9370A cartridge delivers 130 ml of dye-based Photo Black ink for compatible HP Designjet printers. It is intended for professionals who need consistent colour accuracy on large-format output. The single-pack supply fits T1100, T1200, T1300, T2300, T610, T620, T770 and T790 series devices.

Sustained printing performance

Thermal inkjet technology maintains steady droplet placement during long print runs without the density drift seen in short bursts. The 130 ml volume supports extended production on 24-in and 44-in models before a swap is required. Intelligence built into the cartridge tracks remaining ink and alerts the operator when replacement is needed.

Thermal and power behaviour in use

The cartridge operates at the printer’s normal operating temperature and draws no additional power beyond the print-head heating cycle. Dye-based formulation dries quickly on coated media, reducing reprints and wasted sheets. Empty cartridges can be returned through the HP Planet Partners programme available in 42 countries.

Questions about this item

Does the 130 ml cartridge generate extra heat or noise during long print runs on the Designjet T1100?

The cartridge is a passive ink supply; it has no moving parts or electronics that produce heat or noise. All thermal management and acoustic output come from the printer itself.

Which printer models must I already own for this C9370A cartridge to work?

It fits HP Designjet T1100, T1200, T1300, T2300, T610, T620, T770 and T790 series printers.

Will this Photo Black cartridge work alongside older matte black cartridges in a T1100?

Yes. The T1100 uses separate channels for Photo Black and Matte Black, so both can remain installed and the printer switches automatically.
