Genuine Xerox Magenta Solid Ink for Phaser 8500

This three-stick pack supplies magenta solid ink for Xerox Phaser 8500 and 8550 series printers. Each stick yields approximately 3000 pages at five percent coverage. The product suits offices that run these specific models and want original consumables.

Consistent output across long print runs

Solid ink technology melts the stick into a reservoir, delivering steady colour density from the first page to the last of the rated yield. There is no cartridge to shake or replace mid-job, so extended batches finish without interruption or colour shift.

Simple stick-load installation

Sticks slide into the keyed loader slots on the printer; the shape prevents incorrect insertion. The only common issue occurs when a stick is forced into the wrong colour position, which the keying eliminates. No tools or firmware steps are required.

Questions about this item

Does the solid-ink stick generate noticeable heat or fan noise during long print runs on a Phaser 8500?

The ink stick itself produces no heat or noise; thermal output and fan activity come from the printer's internal heater and cooling system, not the consumable.

Must I already own a Xerox Phaser 8500 or 8550 series printer to use these magenta sticks?

Yes, the sticks are engineered exclusively for the Phaser 8500, 8550, 8550 DT, 8500 DN, 8550 DP, 8550 DX and 8500 N models.

Can I mix the 108R00670 magenta sticks with older solid-ink cartridges still in my Phaser 8550?

The printer accepts genuine Xerox solid-ink sticks by colour slot; using this magenta stick alongside other genuine colours works normally.
