HP Color LaserJet CP-4525N

This HP Color LaserJet CP-4525N is a new network colour laser printer built for shared office environments. It produces colour and black output at up to 42 ppm with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. A maximum input capacity of 600 pages supports longer unattended runs. Ethernet connectivity integrates directly into existing wired networks.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Teams needing fast colour documents on a wired LAN will find the speed and paper capacity a good match. Buyers who require Wi-Fi or direct USB printing from a workstation cannot use those interfaces on this model. Offices that need included toner cartridges to start printing immediately must source supplies separately.

Deciding specification

The Ethernet interface is the single specification that decides fit; this printer connects only via a wired network port. If your infrastructure relies on wireless or local USB connections, this unit will not integrate without additional hardware.
