HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M652N

The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M652N is a network colour laser printer built for office workgroups that need fast output. It prints black and colour pages at up to 50 ppm with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. A 650-sheet input capacity supports long runs without frequent reloading. Ethernet connectivity integrates directly into existing wired networks.

Suited for teams needing reliable colour documents

This printer suits departments that produce high volumes of colour reports, presentations and marketing materials on a shared network. It is not for buyers who require wireless or USB host printing, automatic duplex scanning, or a larger paper capacity than 650 sheets. Users needing advanced finishing options such as stapling or booklet making should consider other models.

Straightforward network setup

Installation consists of connecting the Ethernet cable, configuring the IP address on the 2.7-inch display and installing drivers from the manufacturer website. The unit ships without toner, so cartridges must be sourced before first use. Common issues include forgetting to order toner separately and overlooking the need for a static IP reservation on the network.

Questions about this item

What network cable do I need to connect the RJ-45 Ethernet port on this J7Z98A#BGJ printer?

A standard Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable with RJ-45 plugs connects the printer to your network switch or router for wired printing.

Will the 2.7 inch display and keypad let me manage jobs sent from legacy USB 2.0 hosts on the same network?

Yes, the control panel shows job status and lets you pause, resume or delete print jobs regardless of whether they arrived via Ethernet or the USB 2.0 port.

How can I confirm the 1200 x 1200 dpi engine is printing correctly after setup?

Print the built-in configuration page from the keypad; it shows resolution, colour alignment and first-page-out time so you can verify output quality.
