Compact Monochrome Multifunction

The Xerox B215DNI is a new black-and-white laser multifunction printer that prints, copies, scans and faxes. It is designed for one to five users in a home office or small business. A 3.5 inch capacitive colour touchscreen provides direct control. The unit includes a 40-sheet automatic document feeder and a front USB port for printing from or scanning to a flash drive.

Build Integration

Standard paper capacity is 250 sheets plus a single-sheet manual feed slot that handles plain, thick, thin, cotton, coloured, pre-printed, recycled, transparency, label, cardstock, bond and archive media. Built-in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct connect the device to a network without cables. Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Mopria and the Xerox Print Service Plug-in for Android enable mobile printing. The printer replaces the WorkCentre 3225/DNI in existing fleets.

Sustained Operation

The engine delivers up to 31 pages per minute on letter and 30 pages per minute on A4 with a first page out in 8.5 seconds and a first copy in 14 seconds. Standard automatic two-sided printing reduces paper consumption during long runs. A 600 MHz processor with 256 MB memory manages the monthly volume of up to 3,000 pages. Security features include 802.1X, HTTPS, IPsec, IPv6, address filtering, SNMPv3 and authenticated scan-to-email.
