Genuine HP 711 Magenta Ink Cartridge

The HP CZ131A is a 29-ml magenta cartridge for HP DesignJet T100, T120, T125, T130, T520, T525 and T530 series printers. It uses dye-based ink with a 5.5 pl drop size to produce sharp lines down to 0.0008 inch.

Ideal for technical printing and CAD workflows

Suits AEC students, freelancers and small teams who need consistent, accurate colour on compatible DesignJet plotters. Not for users needing high-volume output, larger 80-ml cartridges, or pigment-based inks for archival durability.

29-ml capacity for low-volume colour work

Comfortably handles occasional plots and colour accents in technical drawings. Runs out quickly on full-colour posters or high-coverage graphics; heavy users should choose 80-ml black or colour multi-packs instead.

Questions about this item

Which DesignJet printers accept this CZ131A magenta cartridge?

It fits the HP DesignJet T100, T120, T125, T130, T520, T525 and T530 series, including the T120 610 mm (CQ891A), T520 A0 914 mm (CQ893A) and T520 A1 610 mm (CQ890A).

Will this 29-ml cartridge work if my printer currently uses the 80-ml black cartridges?

Yes. The 29-ml colour cartridges and 38-ml or 80-ml black cartridges are designed for the same printer series, so you can mix capacities as needed.

How can I verify the cartridge is printing correctly after installation?

Print a test page and check that lines as fine as 0.0008 inch (0.02 mm) appear sharp and that magenta colour is accurate.
