HP DL20 Gen10 SFF ODD Enablement server rack

DL20 Gen10 SFF ODD Enablement Kit

This kit enables an optical drive bay in the HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen10 server. It is designed for administrators who need local optical media support on a compact rackmount platform. The component integrates directly with the server chassis to provide a factory-aligned fit. It suits environments where software installation or data recovery still relies on physical discs.

Build Quality and Daily Use

The assembly uses HPE-standard materials that match the server's existing construction for consistent durability. Mounting points align with the DL20 Gen10 SFF chassis so installation requires no modification of the rack or rails. Once fitted, the bay accepts a standard slim optical drive without protruding beyond the front bezel. This preserves rack density and keeps cable routing tidy in 10 or 20 unit enclosures.
