HP RDX+ 2 TB USB 3.0 backup system

This desktop external drive uses removable RDX+ cartridges to provide 2 TB of portable storage. It connects through a USB 3.0 interface for straightforward attachment to workstations and servers. The system is designed for organisations that require an offline backup target with a three-year limited warranty. It suits IT administrators who prefer cartridge-based media rotation over fixed-disk appliances.

Check cartridge stock and USB port availability

Verify that you have access to compatible HP RDX cartridges in 500 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB capacities for your retention schedule. Ensure the host machine presents a free USB 3.0 port; the drive will operate at USB 2.0 speeds on older ports. Confirm that your backup software recognises removable disk targets and can eject the cartridge safely. Buyers who need a permanently installed drive bay or network-attached storage should consider a different form factor.
