HP EliteBook 840 G3 14 FHD

This business laptop targets professionals needing a compact 14.0" display and reliable productivity performance. The Intel Core i7-6500U dual-core processor reaches 3.10 GHz turbo frequency for responsive multitasking. No operating system is included, so the buyer must provide their own licence and installation media.

8GB DDR3 memory and 500GB NVMe storage

Eight gigabytes of DDR3 RAM handles typical office workloads, web browsing and light content creation without bottlenecking the CPU. The 500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe drive provides fast boot and application launch speeds. Memory slots support up to 32 GB total for future expansion when heavier workloads demand more headroom.

Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520

The built-in GPU 520 drives the 1920 x 1080 FHD panel smoothly for document work, video playback and casual creative tasks. It lacks dedicated graphics memory, so demanding 3D rendering or modern gaming will exceed its capabilities. Buyers needing discrete GPU performance or a pre-installed OS should consider other configurations.

Questions about this item

Yes, the laptop uses DDR3 memory and has two slots supporting up to 32 GB total, so your current DDR3 SO-DIMMs will be compatible.

How can I verify the 500 GB NVMe drive is detected after I install an operating system?
