Questions about this item

How many DDR3 SODIMM slots are free for a future memory upgrade?

The laptop has two DDR3 slots in total and supports up to 32 GB, so you can add another module if one slot is already populated.

Will the Intel Core i5-6300U hit its 3.00 GHz turbo limit before the cooling system can keep up?

The dual-core processor runs at a 2.40 GHz base and can boost to 3.00 GHz; sustained loads will be constrained by the thermal design of the 14.0" chassis.

How loud does the fan get when the Intel HD Graphics 520 and CPU run all day?

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 shares the same cooling as the CPU, so fan noise rises only when combined workloads push the thermal envelope.
