Business ultraportable with QHD display

The HP EliteBook 840 G4 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for mobile professionals who need a sharp 2560 x 1440 screen. It runs on an Intel Core i7-7500U processor at 2.7 GHz with 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Suits users who need a bright quad-HD panel

Buyers who require a touchscreen, a discrete graphics card or more than 8 GB of memory should consider other models. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 uses shared system memory and is not intended for heavy 3D workloads or modern gaming titles.

Deciding specification: 2560 x 1440 non-touch QHD

This resolution provides substantially more workspace than standard full-HD panels on the same 14.0 inch diagonal. If your workflow benefits from the extra vertical pixels for documents, code or web pages, the display is the key reason to choose this unit.
