EliteBook 840 G7 business ultrabook

The HP EliteBook 840 G7 is a 14.0-inch business laptop built around a quad-core Intel Core i5-10210U processor. It ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, 8 GB of DDR4 2666 memory in a single module, and a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drive the non-touch FHD IPS anti-glare panel at 1920 x 1080 with 250 nits brightness and 45% NTSC coverage.

Professionals needing portable productivity

This ultrabook suits mobile professionals who value a fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, plus Thunderbolt-capable USB-C ports for docks and displays. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a discrete GPU, higher colour-gamut coverage or more than 8 GB of memory out of the box should consider other configurations.

Single memory module leaves one slot open

The system arrives with one 8 GB DDR4 2666 stick installed in a two-slot board, leaving the second slot free for a straightforward capacity upgrade. This detail determines whether the laptop meets your immediate multitasking needs or requires an additional module at purchase.
