EliteBook 840 G7 for mobile professionals

The HP EliteBook 840 G7 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for professionals who need reliable performance while travelling. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-10610U quad-core processor with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe SSD.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 15 W quad-core processor maintains consistent speeds during extended office tasks, video calls and light content creation. Shared system memory handles integrated graphics duties without a separate GPU, so thermals stay manageable inside the slim chassis during long sessions.

Deciding specification

The single specification that decides fit is the 8 GB of soldered DDR4 memory, which cannot be upgraded after purchase. Buyers who need more memory for virtual machines or large datasets must choose a different configuration.
