HP EliteBook 840 G8 touch-screen laptop

This 14.0-inch Windows 11 Pro laptop combines an Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor with 8GB memory and a 128 GB SSD. The Full HD display supports touch input at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics handle everyday visuals. It suits professionals who need a compact, managed device with a touchscreen for presentations or field work.

Verify power adapter and port requirements

The system ships with two USB ports and Bluetooth but no optical drive. Confirm your peripherals and docking needs match this port count before ordering. The unit is professionally reconditioned with fair cosmetic condition; expect moderate scratches or scuffs on the bezel and casing plus possible minor cracks. Expansion or SD slot covers may be absent.

Sustained workload thermal behaviour

Under continuous load the Core i7 maintains a minimum 2.80GHz speed while the integrated graphics share system memory. The thin chassis limits long-duration turbo performance so extended compiles or large dataset tasks will throttle to protect thermals. Buyers who need consistent multi-core throughput for hours should consider a larger workstation form factor.

Questions about this item

What is included in the box and what must I buy separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, a 14.0 inch Full HD touchscreen, 128 GB SSD, 8 GB RAM and integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics. No optical drive is fitted. The supplier notes that expansion or SD slot covers may be absent.

Which version or capacity should I choose between the listed SSD sizes?

The product is offered with a 128 GB SSD. The supplier notes the actual usable capacity may range from 120 GB to 128 GB. Larger capacities such as 240 GB to 256 GB or 480 GB to 512 GB are mentioned only as reference points for other configurations.

What does the minimum 2.80 GHz Core i7 speed mean for everyday performance?

The 11th Gen Intel Core i7 has a base clock of 2.80 GHz. Combined with 8 GB RAM and Intel Iris Xe Graphics it handles typical office applications, web browsing and video playback on the 1920 x 1080 display. Heavier workloads will be limited by the 128 GB SSD and memory capacity.
