Ready-to-work laptop for mobile professionals

The EliteBook 840 G8 combines a 14.0 inch Full HD touchscreen with an Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor, 8 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed with a recovery image. The integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 display for everyday productivity.

No installation required — ships ready to use

The laptop arrives fully assembled with the operating system and drivers configured. Cosmetic condition is described as fair: expect moderate scratches or scuffs on the bezel and casing, wear on the keyboard and trackpad, and the screen may show up to two minor imperfections such as light scratches, dead pixels or small bruises. Expansion slot covers may be missing.

Connectivity limited to two USB ports and Bluetooth

Only two USB ports are provided, so users needing multiple peripherals simultaneously will require a hub or dock. The integrated graphics share system memory and are suited to office applications and media playback rather than intensive 3D workloads. SSD capacity may vary within the manufacturer’s stated range of 480 to 512 GB for a nominal 512 GB drive, and proportionally for other sizes.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 14.0" touch screen is responding correctly after setup?

Open Settings, go to Devices > Touchscreen and run the calibration tool; the 1920 x 1080 Full HD panel should register taps across the entire 14.0" surface without dead zones.

What accessories are included with the laptop and what must I purchase separately?

The unit ships with the laptop and its power adapter; any external mouse, docking station or additional USB-C hubs are sold separately.

Should I choose the 8 GB memory configuration or look for a larger capacity?

The model comes with 8 GB installed in one of two total slots, so you can add a second module later if your workload needs more than the factory 8 GB.
