Refurbished EliteBook 840 G8

This HP EliteBook 840 G8 is a 14.0-inch business laptop running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit. It combines an Intel Core i5-1145G7 quad-core processor with 32GB of memory and a 2TB SSD. The FHD non-touch display delivers a 1920 x 1080 resolution for everyday office work.

Upgrade from older dual-core ultraportables

Moving from a dual-core system to this Tiger Lake quad-core with 8MB L3 cache gives a clear lift in multi-threaded responsiveness. The jump is worth it when 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage remove the need for external drives or constant memory management.

Sustained load on integrated Iris Xe graphics

Under continuous workloads the Intel Iris Xe graphics rely on shared system memory rather than dedicated video RAM. Thermal limits in a thin chassis mean clock speeds will settle below peak boost after several minutes of heavy compute or video encoding.
