HP EliteBook 850 G2 laptop

This HP EliteBook 850 G2 laptop is a 15.6 inch FHD business machine running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. It uses an Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor at 2.30 GHz with a 2.90 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 8GB DDR3 memory and a new 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Suited for office work and light multitasking

The dual-core processor and 8GB DDR3 handle document editing, web browsing and video conferencing. The 2TB NVMe drive provides large local storage for files and applications. Buyers who need more than 16GB total memory or a dedicated graphics card for 3D rendering or modern gaming should look at something else. The non-touch screen also rules out pen or finger input workflows.

Check your workflow and upgrade limits

Verify that Windows 10 Pro meets your software compatibility needs before ordering. The laptop has two memory slots and supports a maximum of 16GB, so plan any RAM upgrade accordingly. Confirm that the Intel HD Graphics 5500 output options match your external display requirements. Ensure the silver chassis and 15.6 inch form factor fit your carrying case or dock.
