Business-grade 15.6" notebook for mobile

The HP EliteBook 850 G6 delivers a quad-core Intel Core i7-8665U processor at 1.9 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. A 1920 x 1080 FHD LED display and Intel UHD Graphics handle everyday productivity. Windows 10 Pro, Thunderbolt 3, HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet provide a complete office-ready package.

Sustained performance on 15 W thermal envelope

The 15 W U-series chip maintains 1.9 GHz base clocks across four cores and eight threads with 8 MB cache. Under continuous load the integrated UHD graphics share system memory, so heavy GPU work will throttle before the CPU hits its limits. Fan noise rises gradually but the aluminium chassis dissipates heat without surface temperatures becoming uncomfortable during long sessions.

Replaces bulky workstations

Buyers moving from a 7th-generation dual-core machine gain four real cores and NVMe speed without sacrificing port selection. The jump is worth it when you need Thunderbolt 3 docking, 16 GB RAM for virtual machines and a 15.6" screen in a chassis that still fits a standard briefcase. Not for buyers who want a dedicated GPU, a touchscreen, or more than 256 GB of fast internal storage.
