Ready for business travel

The HP EliteBook 850 G7 delivers a quad-core Intel Core i7-10610U processor with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD in a 15.6" silver chassis. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handle everyday visual tasks. It suits professionals who need a full-size screen and strong multitasking capability in a portable form factor.

Steady performance on long days

The 15W processor maintains consistent speeds across extended workloads such as large spreadsheets, video calls and background syncing. Shared system memory supports the integrated graphics without a separate thermal zone. The 32GB DDR4 capacity keeps multiple business applications open without swapping to the NVMe drive. Cooling is designed for sustained office use rather than short bursts.

Durable connectivity for daily docking

Two USB 3.1 Type-C ports with Thunderbolt support enable single-cable docking, external displays and fast peripherals. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports add legacy device support, one of which provides charging. HDMI output connects directly to projectors or monitors. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 handle wireless accessories and network roaming. Grade B condition means visible cosmetic wear such as scratches or shiny keys, but all functions are intact.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Core i7-10610U 15W quad-core get when running all day?

The 15 W quad-core typically stays quiet under office loads; fan noise rises only during sustained heavy tasks while surface temperatures remain comfortable for lap use.

Which dock or monitor cables must I already own to use the two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports and HDMI output?

You need a Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C cable for docks and a standard HDMI cable for external displays; both ports are on the laptop.

Will my older USB 3.0 Type-A peripherals work with the two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports on this EliteBook 850 G7?

Yes, the two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports are fully backward compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0 devices.
