Ready for business mobility

The HP EliteBook 845 G8 is a 14.0 inch laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U 8-core processor running at 1.90 GHz base clock. It comes with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. The integrated AMD Radeon graphics use shared system memory. The non-touch FHD display has a 1920 x 1080 resolution with LED backlight.

Check ports and cosmetic grade

Verify that two USB Type-C 10 Gbps ports with USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 meet your docking needs. Confirm two USB Type-A 5 Gbps ports and one HDMI port cover your peripherals. Wireless uses 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with Bluetooth 5. This Grade B unit shows cosmetic blemishes such as scratches or shiny keys; the screen may have very minor imperfections. No optical drive is fitted.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 8-core 16-thread CPU with 16 MB L2 and 16 MB L3 cache handles prolonged multitasking and business applications. Integrated Radeon graphics share the 32 GB DDR4 pool, so heavy GPU tasks reduce memory available to the system. The NVMe SSD maintains fast read and write speeds during extended file transfers. Fan noise and surface temperature will rise under continuous load in the slim aluminum chassis.
