HP EliteBook 850 G8 laptop

The HP EliteBook 850 G8 is a 15.6 inch business laptop built around an Intel Core i7 1185G7 processor with four cores and eight threads. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for professional environments. The silver chassis includes a 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display with LED backlighting.

Thunderbolt 4 connectivity

Two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports provide high-speed data transfer, video output and charging through a single cable. One USB 3.2 Gen 1 port and one USB 3.1 Gen 1 port handle legacy peripherals. An HDMI port supports external monitors. Wireless connectivity uses Intel Dual Band AX201 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2. No optical drive is fitted.

8 GB memory and 1 TB storage headroom

The 8 GB of soldered DDR4 handles everyday office workloads, web browsing and light multitasking comfortably. Heavier tasks such as large datasets, virtual machines or video editing will exhaust the memory headroom quickly. The 1 TB NVMe drive offers ample space for applications and project files while delivering fast boot and load times. Storage expansion requires an additional M.2 slot or external drives.
