EliteBook x360 1040 G11 identity

The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G11 is a 14.0" 2-in-1 business laptop with a 360° hinge and touchscreen. It runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H 16-core processor, 32GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro, a fingerprint reader and a 5MP IR webcam with privacy shutter come standard. It targets professionals who need flexible form factors and integrated AI acceleration.

Sustained workload behaviour

HP Smart Sense adapts power, audio and video settings dynamically to keep the system cool and quiet during long sessions. The Intel Core Ultra 7 155H uses three compute engines to distribute AI and content-creation tasks without thermal spikes. Integrated Arc graphics handle up to three external 4K displays while the 400-nit 2.8K OLED panel maintains 100% sRGB colour accuracy under continuous load.

Installation and common issues

The device arrives resealed after an SSD upgrade; the upgraded drive carries a three-year warranty from the upgrading party while HP covers remaining components for one year. No user assembly is required beyond initial Windows 11 Pro setup. Buyers who need legacy port compatibility or discrete graphics performance should verify their peripheral requirements before purchase.

Which peripherals or docks must I already own to use the 2.8K OLED touchscreen and Wi-Fi 7?
