HP EliteBook x360 1040 G11 2-in-1

This 14.0-inch business laptop uses a 360-degree hinge to shift between laptop, tablet and presentation modes. An Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor with 16 cores and 32GB DDR5 memory runs Windows 11 Pro. The 2.8K OLED touchscreen resolves 2880 x 1800 at 400 nits with 100% sRGB coverage. Integrated Intel Arc graphics drive the internal panel and up to three external 4K displays. A 512GB NVMe SSD stores the operating system and data. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Who should consider this and who should not

Mobile professionals who need pen input, a privacy-focused 5MP IR webcam with shutter and a fingerprint reader will match the feature set. The convertible chassis supports collaboration in tight spaces. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance for heavy 3D rendering or video export should look elsewhere. Users requiring more than 32GB of memory or multiple internal drive bays are not served by this configuration.

The specification that decides fit

The 2.8K OLED touchscreen at 2880 x 1800 with 400 nits and 100% sRGB is the defining component; it dictates colour accuracy, contrast and touch workflow suitability for design review or client presentations.

Questions about this item

Which Wi-Fi standard does the 802.11be wireless LAN support, and what speed ceiling does it impose?

The 802.11be wireless LAN provides Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, enabling multi-gigabit throughput and lower latency for congested office environments.

What chassis clearance and hinge mechanism allow the 360-degree convertible design?

A 360-degree hinge lets the 14.0-inch touchscreen fold flat against the base, so the device works in laptop, tent, stand, or tablet mode without extra mounting hardware.

How is the rechargeable pen paired and charged, and what step do users often miss?

The pen pairs via Bluetooth 5.4 and charges while magnetically docked to the chassis; users often forget to attach it for the initial charge before first use.
