HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF desktop PC i7-8700 16 GB DDR4 512 GB M.2 + 1TB SSD

Business desktop with six-core i7

The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF is a small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i7-8700 processor with six cores and twelve threads. It runs at a 3.20 GHz base frequency and can reach 4.60 GHz with Turbo Boost while staying within a 65 W thermal envelope. The system ships with 16 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory and a dual-drive arrangement: a 512 GB M.2 SSD paired with a 1 TB SSD. Windows 10 Pro, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse are included.

Suited to office productivity, not heavy graphics

This configuration serves general business workloads, multi-tab browsing and light content creation where integrated Intel UHD Graphics are sufficient. Buyers who need discrete GPU performance for 3D rendering, video editing or modern gaming should look at a different system. The included DVD-ROM drive covers legacy media access, while a USB wireless dongle adds 5 GHz-capable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

SFF chassis limits internal expansion

The small-form-factor case fits tight spaces but restricts add-in cards to low-profile dimensions and offers limited drive bays beyond the two SSDs already installed. Memory can be expanded up to 32 GB using DDR4 UDIMM modules in the 240-pin slots. External ports handle additional storage, displays and peripherals without requiring internal changes.
