HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF desktop PC i7-8700 16GB DDR4 256GB M.2 + 1TB SSD

Compact Business Desktop for Office Tasks

The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF is a small-form-factor PC built around an Intel Core i7-8700 processor with six cores and twelve threads. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 256 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB SSD. Windows 10 Pro, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse are included, making it ready for general office work.

DDR4 Memory Limited to 32 GB Maximum

The platform supports DDR4 UDIMM modules up to a total of 32 GB, so the installed 16 GB can be doubled but not expanded further. The M.2 slot and the 2.5-inch bay are already occupied by the supplied drives, leaving no internal room for additional storage devices. Graphics output relies on the integrated Intel UHD engine, which handles typical productivity displays but not demanding 3D workloads.

Six-Core i7-8700 Defines the Performance Ceiling

The 65 W hexa-core CPU runs at a 3.20 GHz base frequency and can reach 4.60 GHz with Turbo Boost, setting the hard limit for single-thread and multi-thread speed in this chassis. Buyers who need more compute throughput, discrete graphics or greater internal expansion will need a larger workstation-class system.
