Compact Business Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini is a space-saving desktop computer built for business professionals and home offices. It ships with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and includes a wireless keyboard and mouse for a clutter-free setup. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles basic multimedia tasks and casual use. This unit suits users who need reliable productivity in a small footprint.

Thermals Noise Power

The Intel Core i5-9500T operates at a 2.20 GHz base frequency with a turbo boost up to 3.70 GHz in a low-power design suited to the compact chassis. The 16 GB DDR4 memory and 1 TB NVMe SSD run without mechanical drives, reducing heat output and acoustic profile during typical office workloads. No fan dimensions or noise ratings are provided in the specifications. Normal use stays within the thermal envelope of the mini form factor.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous multi-threaded demand the six-core processor maintains elevated frequencies within its thermal limits, though the small enclosure constrains long-duration peak performance. The NVMe storage delivers consistent throughput without the latency spikes of rotating media. Integrated graphics share system memory, so extended 3D workloads may throttle sooner than discrete solutions. Buyers needing prolonged maximum compute or dedicated GPU acceleration should consider larger platforms.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1TB NVMe drive in the HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini, and what step is often missed?

The 1TB NVMe drive is already installed. No installation is required; the system ships with Windows 11 Pro pre-loaded on the drive.

What maintenance or replacement will the 16GB DDR4 memory need later?

The 16GB DDR4 memory is non-volatile and requires no routine maintenance or scheduled replacement under normal use.

What limit appears first on the Intel UHD Graphics 630 during sustained use?

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 shares system memory, so graphics-intensive sustained workloads are limited by the available 16GB DDR4 capacity.
