Compact SFF desktop for office work

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s is a small-form-factor business desktop powered by an 8th-generation Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running at up to 4.1 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive configuration of 128 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB SSD. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed.

Suited for general productivity, not heavy graphics

This system handles everyday office applications, web browsing and multi-tasking comfortably. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 supports basic display output but lacks the 3D performance required for modern gaming, CAD rendering or video editing. Buyers needing discrete graphics or more than two internal drives should consider a larger chassis.

Included peripherals and wireless ready

A USB keyboard and USB mouse are bundled so the PC is ready to use immediately. A USB wireless dongle provides 5 GHz-capable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity without occupying an internal slot. The DVD-ROM drive remains available for legacy media or software installation.

Questions about this item

What monitor connection does the Intel UHD Graphics 630 in this desktop provide for my existing display?

The Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives your monitor through the onboard video outputs on the rear of the SFF case.

Will the included USB keyboard and mouse work with the older PS/2-only KVM switch I currently use?

The supplied keyboard and mouse connect via USB, so a PS/2 KVM would need USB-to-PS/2 adapters or a USB-compatible KVM to function.

How can I verify the 32 GB DDR4 memory is recognised and running at the correct speed after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose Memory and confirm 32 GB appears with DDR4 listed as the type.
