Compact business desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini is a small-form-factor desktop built for office environments. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and includes a keyboard and mouse. The unit is powered by an Intel Core i5-9500T processor running at 2.20 GHz with 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD. This configuration suits general productivity tasks and multi-monitor setups.

Simple setup with port limits

Installation requires only power, a display cable and network connection; the bundled peripherals connect via USB. The Mini chassis uses an external power brick, so internal component access is limited. Video output provides one DisplayPort, one HDMI and one VGA port for up to three screens. Only four rear USB ports are available, so a hub may be needed for additional devices.

256 GB SSD capacity

The single 256 GB solid-state drive holds the operating system and a modest amount of local data. No secondary drive bay or hard-disk mount is present in this Mini form factor. Buyers who need more storage must rely on external drives or network shares. The 16 GB memory is soldered and not user-upgradeable.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Intel Core i5-9500T 2.20 GHz is running correctly after setup?

Open Task Manager and check the Performance tab; the processor should show 6 cores at 2.20 GHz base speed.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The Mini PC, a keyboard, a mouse, and a Wi-Fi dongle are included; a monitor and any cables beyond the supplied ones are not.

Which version should I choose if I need VGA output for an older display?

This model provides one DisplayPort, one HDMI and one VGA port, so it supports VGA without an adapter.
