Compact Business Mini PC

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini PC is a small-form-factor desktop built for office environments that value space efficiency. It integrates an Intel Core i5-9500T six-core processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and activated. This unit suits users who need a ready-to-deploy system for daily productivity tasks without a tower footprint.

32GB DDR4 and 2TB NVMe Headroom

The 32GB DDR4 configuration handles multitasking across browser tabs, office suites and video calls without pressure. The 2TB NVMe drive provides ample room for local files, applications and system images. Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives up to two DisplayPort monitors for standard business visuals. Heavy 3D rendering, modern gaming or large-scale video editing will exceed the integrated graphics capability.

Upgrade from Older SFF or Tower Units

This Mini PC replaces bulky legacy desktops that lack NVMe speed or modern wireless connectivity. The jump is worth it when desk space is limited and a VESA-mountable, quiet air-cooled unit simplifies deployment. It does not suit buyers who need discrete graphics expansion, additional internal drive bays or support for specialised legacy expansion cards.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.2 GHz i5-9500T with 35 W TDP run stably on the power supply from my older EliteDesk G3 Mini?

The 800 G5 Mini ships with an OEM wattage-appropriate AC adapter matched to the 35 W processor; reuse an older adapter only if its output rating matches the label on the new unit.

How can I confirm the 32 GB DDR4 and 2 TB NVMe are detected correctly after first boot?

Open Task Manager → Performance tab; Memory should show 32 GB DDR4 and the disk should list a 2 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD with Windows 11 Pro active.

The box lists only the Mini and AC adapter — do I need to buy a DisplayPort cable, keyboard and mouse separately?

Yes, the package includes the desktop and power adapter only; add a DisplayPort cable for the two DisplayPort outputs and purchase keyboard and mouse separately.
