Compact Business Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Mini is a 7×7×2 inch desktop powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10700T vPro 8-core processor with 16MB cache and Intel UHD 630 integrated graphics. It ships with 8GB DDR4 memory, a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Pro 64-bit, Wi-Fi 6 AX201, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 65W power supply.

Office Deployments and Space-Constrained Setups

This unit suits IT managers standardising on vPro manageability for remote fleets, call-centre pods, or hot-desking environments where the tiny footprint and included USB keyboard and mouse simplify rollout. Buyers needing discrete graphics performance, internal drive bays for additional storage, or a chassis that accepts full-height expansion cards should consider a larger form factor.

Single-DisplayPort Output Limitation

The Mini provides two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors and one USB 3.2 Type-C port, but the integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics drive only two simultaneous displays. Organisations planning triple-monitor workstations will require an external dock or a different desktop platform.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM and 512GB NVMe SSD, and which step is often missed?

The Mini PC uses SO-DIMM slots and an M.2 NVMe slot; the step often missed is securing the M.2 screw after inserting the SSD at the correct angle.

What maintenance or replacement will the 65W power supply and integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics need later?

The 65W external power supply may need replacement if it fails; the Intel UHD 630 is integrated and not replaceable, so only driver updates apply.

What limit appears first on the i7-10700T vPro under sustained 4.5 GHz loads with the 65W supply?

The 65W power supply and Mini PC thermal design limit sustained turbo to 4.5 GHz, so power and heat throttling appear before CPU headroom.
