Compact business desktop

The HP EliteDesk 600 G5 Mini is a new ultra-small desktop built around a 9th Generation Intel Core i5-9500T hexa-core processor. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD, ready for multi-tasking, data analysis and productivity workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate business use.

Thermals and power

The energy-efficient design runs quietly in focused work environments, aided by the low-power 9500T processor and integrated Intel HD Graphics 630. With no discrete graphics card, heat output and fan noise stay minimal during typical office tasks. The compact chassis dissipates heat effectively for sustained operation.

Build integration

The micro footprint fits on a desk, under a desk or behind a monitor using the included VESA mount, freeing valuable workspace. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide wireless network and peripheral connectivity without extra cables. A wired keyboard and mouse are included for instant setup. Buyers who need internal expansion slots, discrete GPU support or additional drive bays should consider larger form factors.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 32GB DDR4 memory in the HP EliteDesk 600 G5 Mini, and what step is often missed?

The Mini chassis uses two SO-DIMM slots accessed by removing the bottom cover; the step often missed is seating both modules fully until the retention clips click on each side.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1TB SSD need later?

The 1TB SSD has no moving parts and requires no scheduled maintenance; replacement is only needed if capacity runs out or the drive reaches its write endurance limit.

What limit appears first on the Intel Core i5-9500T under sustained heavy workloads?

The Intel HD Graphics 630 shares system memory and thermal budget with the CPU, so graphics-intensive tasks hit thermal throttling before the six cores reach their power ceiling.
