HP HyperX Cloud Chat Headset Black/Green 40mm 3.5mm

Single-Ear Chat Headset for Xbox

The HyperX CloudX Chat Headset is a single-ear headset officially licensed for Xbox One. It connects through a 3.5mm jack so you can plug it straight into a compatible controller. The design targets players who want to hear game audio from their TV or sound system while staying in voice chat with friends. A reversible frame lets you wear the earcup on either side.

Wired 3.5mm Connection Limits

Because the headset uses a passive 3.5mm analogue link, audio quality and microphone performance depend entirely on the controller or device you plug it into. There is no built-in digital signal processing, battery or wireless receiver, so the headset cannot function on its own without a host port. Cable length is fixed by the in-line control module, which also means you cannot swap the cable for a longer or shorter one.

Lightweight Reversible Build and In-Line Controls

The headset weighs very little and uses a flexible boom microphone with a pop filter to reduce breath noise. In-line controls sit on the cable for quick volume adjustment and mic mute without opening a console menu. The single 40mm driver is housed in a rotating earcup that flips for left or right ear use, and the open-back style keeps your other ear free for room audio.
