Coated paper for graphics and signs

This economical heavyweight matte coated paper comes in a single roll measuring 36 inches wide by 300 feet long. It is FSC® certified and recyclable, supporting responsible forest management. The white matte finish suits medium ink-density graphics and technical applications. It works across a broad range of HP printers including HP PageWide XL models.

Best for frequent indoor signage

Buyers producing presentations, indoor signs and posters that are replaced often will value the consistent print-to-print and roll-to-roll quality. It also serves well for working comps, design proofs and point-of-purchase signage. Shops needing glossy photo output or outdoor durability should consider other media.

36-inch width by 300-foot length

The roll dimensions of 36 inches by 300 feet determine whether this media fits the printer and covers the required run length. Verify the printer accepts a 36-inch roll before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 36-inch roll into an HP PageWide XL printer without misalignment?

Open the roll cover, place the roll on the spindle with the coated side facing the print path, thread the leading edge straight through the guides, then close the cover and run the automatic alignment routine before printing.

When will this FSC-certified coated roll need to be replaced during high-volume poster runs?

The 300-foot length yields roughly 80 square metres of print area; replace the roll when the low-media sensor triggers or when the remaining footage no longer covers the next job.

At what ink density does the matte coating start to show cockling or ink bleed during long print sessions?

The coating is rated for medium ink-density graphics; sustained heavy saturation beyond that level can cause cockling or bleed, so keep total ink limits within the printer's medium-density profile.
