HP 840 G4 business laptop

The HP 840 G4 is a 14.0 inch business laptop running Windows 10. It uses a dual-core Intel Core i5-7300U processor at 2.6GHz with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. The non-touch display has a 1366 x 768 resolution with Wide XGA graphics. It is supplied in refurbished condition with battery and AC adaptor.

Suited to office work and mobile professionals

This configuration suits users who need a reliable Windows 10 machine for document editing, email and web-based applications. The 16GB memory supports multitasking across typical business programs. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a higher resolution panel or a discrete graphics card should look at other models. The integrated graphics and dual-core processor limit suitability for intensive creative or engineering workloads.

Dual-core i5-7300U processor decides fit

The Intel Core i5-7300U dual-core processor is the specification that determines whether this laptop matches the required performance level. Its two cores and 2.6GHz base frequency handle standard business tasks efficiently. Workloads that demand sustained multi-threaded performance or higher single-thread speeds will exceed what this CPU can deliver. Verify that the software environment is compatible with a dual-core architecture before purchase.
